Named after their children; Christina, Christopher and Jonathan. CJ’s Laundromat is a family owned and operated business centrally located in the Five Corners area of Groton City. Self-employed since the age of 18, most notably in the restaurant business, Dennis along with his wife Anna decided to open a Laundromat. In 1991 they opened CJ’s Laundromat at 125 Poquonnock Road in Groton (across the street from our current location). After 14 years in the Laundry business and 30 something years of being self-employed, Dennis decided to get into Real Estate. Still working at Remax in Westerly, the family noticed that Groton City no longer had a Laundromat at all. After two years of planning, designing and building it, CJ’s Laundromat was born again. Our new facility features state of the art American made Dexter equipment that is second to none. Today’s Laundry equipment are far more efficient, require less detergent, wash faster, cleaner and therefore saving you time and money (the two things that we can all use more of).
